  1. ((hug)) Much better than seeing At Risk. Phew.

It seems like you received the response very quickly?

  2. I actually held my breath when I opened the link to the results–and let out a huge sigh of relief when I saw what was written!

And yes, I was (pleasantly) surprised by how quickly they got the testing done!

  3. Aren’t you glad to know that he will never come down with DM symptoms? I think we can all deal with “carrier” — “At Risk” gives me a stomach ache.

    • I am SO GLAD! Watching him over the past couple of weeks was making me nuts! Every time he’d drag a foot during one of our walks, I was SURE it meant he was becoming symptomatic! Never mind that he’s been dragging his feet during walks for years now ;-)

  5. Makes me feel better too.

Of course that means that either Duncan or Dru is a carrier, at least. Not surprising of course.

Glad to see that the results are so quick.

  7. Hi Riley,

It’s Daddy Duncan, here. I’m glad your test came out well. I’m still waiting for my results. I’ll let you know when my mom hears from that OFA place. Was that swab thing yucky, or what!?

Anyway, I’m very proud of you. I wish I’d been able to see you on TV, but I can’t stay up that late anymore, well, actually my mom can’t stay up that late anymore.

    Take care,

    Your dad, Duncan

    • Hi Duncan.
Mom and I will be keeping our fingers crossed that your test comes back with good results as well. I didn’t think the swab was too bad–it tasted a lot like my soybean-based dog food!
I really liked being on TV–I love to do tricks for people. Tricks are much more fun than obedience!
      Thanks for writing–
      Your son, Riley

  9. Wonderful! That’s what I got for three of mine; Jack is a clear. Only symptomatic Merlin tested At Risk.
