Took Zoey to a NADAC trial today…we haven’t done NADAC for about three years now. This was our first time in Open Jumpers and it was a course tailor made for Zoey: 19 jumps and 2 tunnels. 152 yards of pure, clean running room. She came dangerously close to having the fastest time of ALL dogs in ALL heights: 23.5 seconds. For those who enjoy math as much as I do, that works out to be very, very close to 6.5 yards per second. I keep thinking the older she gets, the slower she’ll get, but maybe not.
I just found out three of my photos were chosen for exhibit at the “Art Show at the Dog Show” competition!
This was my first year entering the competition–thank you Kim for telling me about it and encouraging me to enter. I’m thrilled that my work will be included in the show!
The photos chosen for exhibit are:
“Little Miss Blue Eyes”

“Little Dog Lost”

and, “It’s Cold Outside”

My favorite show of the year is this coming weekend! I love this show because: 1) they offer agility, 2) they have LOTS of shopping and 3) they offer agility!
This is the only trial in this area where agility is held in a lovely, warm building. A clean building. With matted floors. It is NOT in a dirty, muck-filled, bone-chilling-cold horse barn.
I don’t mind the horse barns in the spring and the fall, but in the winter–that’s just brutal!
Zoey! will be running in the Jumpers with Weaves class on Friday and Monday. Her ‘cousin’ Sky will be showing in obedience those days as well, and will HOPEFULLY earn the last leg of his UDX title.
Zoey! earned her very first performance title (the “RN”) at this show 4 years ago:
